I have a new blog. Again. I swear this is the last time. It's on blogspot and the addy is:

It's called trainspotter-spotter. Why? From when I was in England and took the train everywhere. I was always spotting the trainspotters who were spotting the train I was on, so I said I was a... you get it. Ok. I ended up with loads of pics of dudes in anoraks.

Things I Miss: NZ


Shortened words. Sounds like babytalk. Sparky, Chippie, smoko, ciggy, gassy, postie, etc.

Inland Revenue Wow taxes are straightforward! Wish Canada would take some lessons before i bother to file..

BodyBalance I had a standing date with Jo for stretch class on thursdays.

The Weather Actually it drove me nuts while I was there, it's never too cold, just cold enough for a fire. And the rain, the bloody rain. But you never need a jacket, the wind doesn't rip things from your hands, and it's sunny every day at noon.

kumara Maori sweet potato. I like the orange ones, and someone made funof me cos I like turnips too, and they feed both of those to the cows.

Cool clothes. While some NZ fashion is just plain gay, most is really stylie.

Lisa's pumpkin and kumara hummus, normal hummus, baba ganoush..

The organic bread I used to buy. It was my brand, you know? Tasty and really solid.

Not wearing shoes. People just don't in the summer, and there's no broken glass onthe sidewalk so you don't need to.

Milo Fortified chocolate drink. Full of iron and very tasty with milk.
